I am not descended from any BELBINS but they do creep into my tree in a few places, in particular:
MOSES4 BELBIN (JOHN3, WILLIAM2 BELBIN/BELLMAN, WILLIAM1 BELLMAN) was born November 24, 1833 in Seal Cove, Trinity Bay, and died Bet. 1871 - 1921 in Seal Cove, Trinity Bay. He married JOHANNA BANTON November 6, 1859 in Hant's Harbour District. She was born 1833 in Scilly Cove, Trinity Bay, and died Aft. 1921 in poss Seal Cove, Trinity Bay. see this link - [www.devel20.freezone.co.uk] I am related to the Bantons, way back on one of my lines. Johanna BANTON's parents are Gideon BANTON/Elizabeth GREEN |

Hi, I came across your website when searching Facebook for Marie Belbin. She was a childhood best friend from England who lived in Chester, Virginia for a couple of years. She had a sister (Madeleine) and brother (whose name I no longer remember.) I don't suppose we will ever reconnect, but I every once in awhile I find another possible lead! The Marie I am looking for would have been born in late 1962 or 1963 (in case she happens to see this post!) Thank you!

Hello,
I'm interested in where I fit into the Belbin clan. My grandfather was Chestley John Belbin. I believe he fished for cod in Newfoundland with his relatives at a young age. I believe he may have been related to Lloyd Belbin from New Chelsea, Newfoundland. I am unsure how he got to Newfoundland or if he was born there. I would like to know anything I can find out about my geneology. Thank you, John Troy Belbin |

The Belbin ancestors are on my mother's side, as they are connected with the Cann family of Baltimore, MD. A Cann descendant and I found William Belbin buried in Baltimore Cemetery in Baltimore, MD USA a few weeks ago. You may want to check [www.findagrave.com] in about a month for an entry for him and his wife. There are a few more Belbins in Baltimore Cemetery, we found two but three seemed to be in an unmarked plot. I'm glad to see there are other descendants out there!

Hello. I am the daughter of John Belbin, and niece of Patricia (Belbin) Baines, who sent me the link to this site. I just wanted to say a quick hello, and comment that it's pretty cool to see a website about Belbins. I just took a quick peek today, but I hope to continue to visit this site many times to come.

I am the grandson of Frederick William Belbin of Baltimore, MD., who was born about 1897.
I am searching for information of other relatives, in particular Charles Terhune Belbin Jr. & his wife, Elizabth Belbin.
